Darth Vader Double Telescoping DT saber figure original vs repro
It can be hard to authenticate a DT (double telescoping) saber as original. Reproductions are becoming rampant, and a fake saber can be had for under $20. I am dedicating a page in my figure guide, Vintage Kenner Star Wars action figure variations, to the issue of reproduction sabers. Vs originals. etc..
Here are some pictures of an original saber- marked N- originals can be found with marks for A to ZZ and some with just a dot on the hilt also can be found. They are slightly transparent, and with age they can be come very brittle.
Reproduction sabers are becoming very precise- but there are some things to look for- Some, but not all Repro’s by Revalvit are marked REV on the hilt, theres are not marked abut have II mark on the hilt. Any saber that is unmarked should be suspect as being a repro.
Note seam, on the shaft, rounder tip – REV on the hilt. Ejection point marks on shaft.

Han Solo white molded legs did you know there is more than one ?
If you are a collector or new to collecting Star Wars you need to check your Han Solo figures. The Vintage Kenner Han Solo was first released as a small head figure. And you may have one twice as valuable if you have white molded legs. Pegged the “pinhead” figure. He can be found with several COO versions. The White molded legs was an early production change to the figure. Legs painted black, molded in white. Take look in his peg holes on the bottom of the feet. He can be found on two different COO versions.
From my guide ” Vintage Kenner Star Wars Action Figure Variations of North America..
Ree Yees Taiwan boot colors- the tan to dark olive rainbow
One of the figures getting an expanded section in my update to my Guide “Vintage Kenner Star Wars action figure variations of North America” is Ree Yees.
Not a particularly rare figure, particularly the Taiwan COO, but the boots quite a rainbow. for tan to dark olive. Some of the colors are like due to fading over time and conditions. Other vars highlighted is the neck color and the two body colors found on him..
The new update comes out early December, God willing and the creeks don’t rise.
Happy collecting.
